The Centre for Clinical Trials by ICLS is actively involved in helping bring new medical therapies to the dermatology and plastic surgery fields by participating in a variety of clinical research studies.
ICLS is a private, fully accredited, state-of-the-art dermatology and plastic surgery facility located in Oakville, Ontario, directed and overseen by our medical Dermatologist, Dr. Sheetal Sapra and Board Certified Plastic Surgeon, Dr. Julie Khanna. Our doctors strongly believe that being on the forefront of medical research is an important part of their respective practices.

Clinical Research Manager
Dynika graduated as a Laboratory Technicianin 2011 and quickly expanded her career to clinical trials in 2012 giving her experience working in Obstetrical/Newborn research as well as dermatology.
As Clinical Trials Manager, Dynika works closely with ICLS trial sponsors and her team, providing maintenance of equipment, training and development of staff in our ever-expanding Clinical Trials department. Dynika’s favorite past time is fishing with her family of six off of the dock at their cottage in Muskoka.
Clinical Research Coordinator
Carly joined ICLS with a strong background in nursing and seven years of experience in cardiac and psychiatric clinical research. With her love of teaching patients and always searching to learn new things, dermatology research is the perfect fit.
Carly and her husband love to travel and are always looking for new adventures whether it’s volcano boarding in Nicaragua or swimming with whale sharks on the coast of the Baja. She’s excited about her newest hobby of mastering the acoustic guitar.
Clinical Research Coordinator
Jenn is responsible for overseeing and providing patient care for multiple medical and cosmetic dermatology clinical studies. She is a 2018 McMaster University graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry, and gained research experience in the fields of hematology, thrombosis, and sepsis.
She holds multiple leadership positions in local, provincial, and international non-profit organizations to inspire others and invoke change through philanthropy, cultural education, healthcare advocacy, and leadership development.
Clinical Research Coordinator
Natalie is one of our research coordinators here at ICLS, managing several dermatological clinical trials. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Toronto in 2008.
Working in clinical research for many years within various therapeutic areas has been a deeply rewarding career path. Natalie has a passion for plant-based nutrition, music, and martial arts. Most of all, she loves being a mother to her three wonderful children.
Clinical Research Nurse
Shirley began her career in Dermatology in 2013 alongside Dr. Sapra. Recently she had the opportunity to broaden her knowledge by changing course and working with our Clinical Research Team as a Research Nurse. Shirley’s empathy and desire to help patients through new and upcoming studies makes this position an ideal fit.
Shirley enjoys being active, whether it be travelling, snowboarding in our Canadian winters or hiking with her two dogs, Murphy and Charley. She also enjoys some downtime for herself while indulging in her pottery, photography or sailing in the Caribbean.
